Ciuffo Cabinetry is currently seeking a full-time Shop Help/Shipping Department Worker. We are a high-end custom millwork firm looking to expand our team with the right candidate!

Requirements:

Job Description

Ciuffo Cabinetry is expanding and currently has an exciting career opportunity for a full-time Lead Installer with prior installation experience. We are a high-end custom millwork business looking to expand our team with a Lead Installer to do field installations primarily in (but not limited to) Eastern Suffolk County. The right candidate will have prior experience in high-end kitchen, millwork and full knowledge of all cabinetry. Requirements:

Prior installation experience and high-end millwork experience as lead installer

Must be available to work full time hours and must be flexible with changing hours

Must be able to work overtime as needed

Experience with all power tools

Has own hand tools and drills

Must be able to read working drawings

Manage punch list

Must be able to manage time and priorities

Must be able to communicate properly with the office and report as needed to supervisor

Must have the ability to use common sense and apply to completing tasks

Knowledge of cabinetry, custom architectural millwork and kitchen construction methods/design

Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:

Drive company vehicle to and from job site – most work will be in (but not limited to) Eastern Suffolk

Help deliver millwork

Install millwork

Report daily as needed to supervisor and office

Job Description

Ciuffo Cabinetry has an exciting career opportunity for an experienced Finisher/Sander. We are a high-end design and build custom woodworking and finishing shop located on Long Island in Suffolk County. We are currently looking for an experienced Finisher with a strong background in custom stains, woodworking, and spray booth finishes. This person will be responsible for making samples, matching stains, managing the finishing department and all general spraying, staining, and painting day-to-day activities.

Requirements:

– Experience in sanding veneers, paintable surfaces and hardwoods.

– Experience spraying, sanding, and buffing finishes of all sheens and specialty finishes.

– Experience with woodworking, wood finishing and painting experience

– Experience with:

  • High gloss
  • Hand polishing
  • Polyurethane
  • Polyester
  • Bleach
  • Stains

Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:

– Preparing materials

– Sanding and buffing

– General spraying

– Making samples

– Staining and matching stains

– Taking inventory and controlling stock

– Following the painting job schedule

– Developing new samples, colors, and styles

– Miscellaneous painting as assigned

Shifts to be filled include: 5AM, 7AM, and 12PM.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

– Building boxes

– Assembling all types of cabinets and other production woodwork

– Reading blueprints and drawings

– Cutting and mitering frames and doors and trim

– Sanding and routing woodwork

– Preparing, organizing and maintaining material, product and tools necessary for assembly.

– Maintaining consistent fast-paced work flow to meet project deadlines

– Responsible for reviewing drawings to ensure product, accessories and components are ready for assembly

– Machine set-up

Requirements:

**Please note: experience with cabinetry is mandatory for this job position.**

Experience with:

– Hand tools

– Working with solid wood

– At least 5-10 years of hands-on cabinetry work experience

– Woodworking machinery

– Plastic laminate work

– Reading blue prints

– Welding + metal experience a plus but not a must.

– Must be able to work 7AM – 3:30PM hours with overtime as needed, and must be available to work some Saturdays when additional overtime is required.

– This is a standing position and frequent movement around shop floor is required.

We are currently looking to add a full-time, experienced Draftsperson to our team to create AutoCAD 2D/3D millwork drawings. Our company is a high-end custom design and drafting firm that specializes in designing luxury kitchens and all other custom millwork on the residential and business level. Our candidate must have experience with AutoCAD, 2D/3D modeling and drafting millwork. The primary responsibilities for this position will consist of drafting custom-made kitchens and other architectural millwork in both 2D and 3D space.
