Guild Hall’s Stirring the Pot August 4th Installment To Feature Tom Colicchio

Tom Colicchio, celebrity Chef, cookbook writer, and restaurateur, will be joining the Guild Hall’s 2019 Stirring the Pot series this Sunday in East Hampton.

Tom Colicchio has a rich culinary background.  He began working as a sous-chef in the mid 80’s and eventually went on to open the Gramercy Tavern with his partner Danny Meyer in New York City.  After excellent feedback, he opened another restaurant called Craft near the Gramercy Tavern.  This led to the opening of several other restaurants in New York City, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas, that have all received high praises.

Tom has written three cook books, and has been involved in Bravo TV’s Top Chef since 2006, where he has participated as head judge.  In 2010, Tom won the Outstanding Chef award from the James Beard Foundation and in the same year, he won an Emmy award for Outstanding Reality-Competition Programming as an executive producer on Top Chef.  Tom also participates in hunger-relief organizations, and serves on the Culinary Council at the Food Bank for NYC as well as the Food Council at City Harvest.

Join us this Sunday, August 4th at the Guild Hall for some fabulous culinary conversation with veteran food critic Florence Fabricant and Tom Colicchio.  To purchase tickets, visit https://web.ovationtix.com/trs/pe/1040557.
